These past few and next couple of weeks I'm going to be working my butt off on stuff for a play that I'm directing/doing some costuming for. It's Beauty and the Beast, but based off of the original fairy tale which is actually quite different from the Disney version that we all know and love. I'm pretty excited. The student I'm working with are great and I'm having a lot of fun raiding thrift stores for props and potential costume pieces, like bedsheets which can be used to make garments since they are much cheaper than fabric. 

In between stuff for the play, I have to work on a commission based off this design:

It's for a friend who plans to wear it to Dapper Day at WDW this spring. I'm working on a few things of my own here and there for that weekend as well.

Easter weekend is Star Wars Celebration and I am HYPED! I was originally planning to cosplay Padme's picnic dress, but that's looking doubtful because of the sheer level of detail that thing has @_@. Instead, I'm going to move that costume to DragonCon and focus on making Leia's ewok village dress, Rey, a Star Wars Easter dress, and Padawan Rapunzel. Wheeeee~
